A sense of responsibility
More than 30 years ago, Savéol producers decided to use useful insects to protect their crops. At the time, people weren’t talking about the environment like they are today. We are, moreover, the only vegetable growing cooperative in Europe to breeding our own pollinating bees and auxiliary insects. Savéol Nature is a wonderful tool for research, development and teaching!
At the same time, have worked to preserve resources. We have developed thermal screens that enable us to save up to 30% of energy, wood-fired boilers, drip irrigation, recycling of irrigation water, rainwater recovery for irrigation, collecting and recycling waste, etc. We have also selected varieties that consume less water and nutrients.
All these initiatives are united in a coordinated approach to sustainable development that shows our commitment as a socially responsible company.
